Review of a Coding Scheme for Additive White Noise Channels with Feedback
We review the capacity-achieving coding scheme for the power-constrained wide-band Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel (with noiseless feedback) that was proposed in [1]. The performance of this scheme for the cases of (i) non-Gaussian additive white noise on the forward path, and (ii) AWGN on both forward and feedback paths, is also discussed.
متن کاملEffect of Additive White Gaussian Noise ( AWGN ) on the Transmitted Data
Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) is common to every communication channels, which is the statistically random radio noise characterized by a wide frequency range with regards to a signal in the communications channel. This assignment describes two aspects of telecommunications engineering: i) the basic understanding of MATLAB, and ii) the effect of Additive white Gaussian Noise (AWGN) on th...
متن کاملAsymptotic Expansions for Gaussian Channels with Feedback under a Peak Power Constraint
This paper investigates the asymptotic expansion for the size of block codes defined for the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel with feedback under the following setting: A peak power constraint is imposed on every transmitted codeword, and the average error probability of decoding the transmitted message is non-vanishing as the blocklength increases. It is well-known that the presenc...
متن کاملStudy and Analysis Capacity of MIMO Systems for AWGN Channel Model Scenarios
Future wireless communication systems can utilize the spatial properties of the wireless channel to enhance the spectral efficiency and therefore increases its channel capacity. This can be designed by deploying multiple antennas at both the transmitter side and receiver side. The basic measure of performance is the capacity of a channel; the maximum rate of communication for which arbitrarily ...
متن کاملSome Generalizations of the Capacity Theorem for AWGN Channels
The channel capacity theorem for additive white Gaussian noise channel (AWGN), widely known as the ShannonHartley Law, expresses the information capacity of a channel bandlimited in the conventional Fourier domain in terms of the signal-to-noise ratio in it. In this letter generalized versions of the Shannon-Hartley Law using the linear canonical transform (LCT) are presented. The channel capac...
